John Empsom - Emperor Management
Prior to setting up Emperor artist management and live music promotions, John Empson worked at Beggars Banquet records for thirteen years and prior to that at Stiff records. John is also a director of Mabrouk Productions.

Emperor has been instrumental in establishing Cornwall’s ‘The Eden Sessions’ and is responsible for securing the artists for the event. A non-corporate live music event in a fantastic location, the event has generated phenomenal media interest; the Eden Sessions brand is acknowledged as being one of quality and integrity. Artists that have performed at the Eden Sessions have included Muse, Snow Patrol, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, The Magic Numbers, Basement Jaxx, Goldfrapp Moby, Primal Scream and Supergrass, to name but a few.
Emperor have also booked artists for Rock The House at Harewood House Leeds, Ben and Jerry’s Sundae and The Venetian Casino, Macau.
